How to Use Tab Display

Setting Permissions

1. Screen Recording permission is required in Tab Display to send the screen to the app. If the permission is not set, you may see the following message.

2. If you click Open, the following settings window will appear. Please add the Tab Display app and enable the settings.

How to Connect

1. Download and install Tab Display on your iPad or Android tablet.

2. Download and install Tab Display on your Macbook (MacOS) or laptop (Windows).

3. If you wish to use a wireless connection, connect both devices to the same WiFi network.

4. Run Tab Display on both devices.

5. Open the settings window to ensure your desired network is selected. Choose WiFi for a wireless connection, and select the respective network after completing USB tethering settings for a wired connection.

6. Press connect on your Macbook or Laptop to start the connection and display the connection code.

7. Enter the connection code on your iPad or Android tablet and press connect. (Choose between Extended Display or Remote Player as desired.)

8. Verify that the target device is your own and press accept. If you choose automatic connection options, the device's ID will be saved for skipping acceptance in future connections.

Additional Options

Tab Display offers the following settings menu options: Virtual Display: - Virtual Display Test - Temporarily create a virtual display for testing. - Virtual Display Resolution - Auto (default) - Adjusts to the resolution of the connected device. - HD - FHD - QHD - UHD - Virtual Display Aspect Ratio - Auto (default) - Adjusts to the aspect ratio of the connected device. - 16:9, 9:16 - 16:10, 10:16 - 4:3, 3:4 - 2:1, 1:2 - 1:1 - Auto Connect - Automatically start connecting when the app is launched. - Network - Choose the network to use for the connection. - Delete Saved Connection Devices List - Set Media Path - Configure the path for remotely playing media. - Change Language - English, Korean, Japanese, Spanish
